When you’re looking for something more than a hotel room while you’re in Phoenix, but don’t want to rent an entire house or villa, our Phoenix condos are a great option. Economical in both space and cost, our condo units are located near all the things you’ve come to Phoenix for, and also offer amenities similar to those of our vacation homes and villas.

Great for small groups and those who are planning on spending most of the time outdoors, our condos tend to sleep less than our vacation homes and villas but are still spacious. Most feature open floor plans, and all have fully equipped kitchens and dining areas.

If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on the rental itself, and would rather save your cash for all those adult cocktails you’ve been planning on or maybe and for that day-long spa visit you’ve been promising yourself, booking our condos for rent in Phoenix is the right choice.

Activities

Summer in Phoenix is awesome. It may be a little hot and dry, but this is the Southwest! With lots of water, and the usual precautions, you’ll be set. This is the prime time to take that hot air balloon ride, or take a guided hike through the desert or up a nearby mountain peak.

Hiking

There are so many places in Phoenix to hike, climb and ride – Echo Canyon, Piestewa Peak, Papago Park and the Cholla Trail are just a few. Piestewa Peak’s Summit Trail is an easy-to-moderate trail, about 1.2 miles each way, with spectacular views along every inch. If you can make the trip in early spring, you’ll be rewarded with an amazing explosion of colorful desert wildflowers.

Papago Park is famous for its distinctive geological formations (Hole-in-the-Rock formation is thought to have been used by the Hohokam to track the solstices), wide variety of desert plants and the pyramid tomb. Hunt’s Tomb is a small (for a pyramid) monument in Papago Park. This tomb, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is the resting place for the first Arizona governor (George W.P. Hunt), his wife and daughter. Besides the tomb, the park is home to the Desert Botanical Gardens, a fire museum, several small lakes, hiking and biking trails and the Phoenix Zoo.

And since you’ve made it to Phoenix, you must make the trek to Camelback Mountain. Hit the trails early in the morning to beat the heat, then cool off in the pool! This city landmark is a popular hiking and rock-climbing destination for visitors and locals alike. Climbing the two strenuous trails is a rite of passage for serious hikers in the area.

The Desert Botanical Garden’s five thematic trails wind through the scenic Sonoran Desert. Learn about desert landscaping, area history, medicinal use of herbs and more while you meander through towering Saguaro cacti, desert wildflowers and succulents, while on the lookout for cool desert creatures.

For something a little different, visit the Tres Rios Environmental Restoration Project. Begun in 2000, it’s an amazing wetlands restoration project and is now home to more than 150 different birds and animals. There are the usual desert dwellers and some not-so-usual dwellers. Plan on seeing eagles, owls, kestrels, coyotes, bobcats, beavers and pelicans. Reclaimed water from the wastewater treatment plant is pumped to the wetlands on its way back into the river. The goal is to bring the Salt River back to the condition it was in during the early 1800s.

Sports

Or, maybe you’re looking for something a little more structured; Phoenix has tons of world-class golf courses just waiting to be played. Papago Golf Course, designed by William Francis Bell, a well-known golf course architect, is an amazing mixture of typical green, desert sand and mountain terrain. Lookout Mountain Golf Club has been voted one of the top 25 courses in the state. Just a reminder, coyotes play through.

And speaking of playing, the Arizona Diamondbacks play at Chase Field here in town. The venue can’t be beat; great baseball and spectacular mountain views all in one!

For the Kids

Looking for a fun activity for your younger kids? Head on over to the Children’s Museum of Phoenix. With three floors of crafts, reading nooks, a noodle forest, amazing interactive exhibits, and a three-story climbing fort feature, kids are sure to love it here!

For more interactive fun, the Musical Instrument Museum has instruments from all over the world, interactive displays and exhibits, kids’ programs, concerts, and the world’s largest playable sousaphone!

And there’s always something going on at the Phoenix Zoo. Besides all the entertaining animals, there are daily activities, exhibits, programs and kids’ camps. Learn more about conservation efforts to save local endangered species including the black-footed ferret and Mount Graham red squirrel, as well as more global species such as orangutans and Sumatran tigers.
