After all, the amazing desert is why we’re all here.
While all of our rentals come with the standard Parsons Villas amenities listed above, each rental is slightly different and comes with slightly different amenities. Not every rental has a putting green or outdoor kitchen, but some do! Just select the rental that fits your group’s likes. The hard part will be choosing from all of our rentals – they’re all great! Many of our weekly rentals in Phoenix also come with pool tables, game rooms, pools, and outdoor grills to test your grilling skills. Patios, covered porches, fireplaces and fire pits are just right for enjoying those cool desert nights. Cook out, laze around the pool, and watch the amazing sunset!
Since you’ll be staying for the week, you may want a rental with a large kitchen so you can make some great meals at home while you enjoy the pool, or maybe a rental with a laundry room because those kids will get dirty while they’re out hiking and having fun. All of our rentals’ kitchens come fully equipped, so you’ll be set whether you’re warming up leftovers from the night before or whipping up a delicious family meal from scratch. Don’t worry, we have weekly rentals in Phoenix AZ with whatever you’ll need for your stay!
There’s so much to do in Phoenix. You can schedule your trip to align with one of the many festivals or tournaments throughout the year. There’s something going on almost every weekend, either in Phoenix or nearby. Make the most of your time here in Phoenix! Here are a few festivals you may want to attend: The Arizona Wine Growers Grand Wine Festival, the ever popular Phoenix Balloon Festival, the American Liberty Festival, the Arizona Strong Beer Festival or The Great Arizona Beer Festival, the McDowell Mountain Music Festival, the Arizona Musicfest, the International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival, and the Arizona State Fair. There’s a festival for everyone!
Love baseball? Spring Training is a great time to be in town, and you can watch your favorite players as they start the new season. If basketball is more your game, both the Phoenix Suns and the Phoenix Mercury play home games at Talking Stick Resort. After the game, stick around and hit the casino for adult games or take in one of the shows.
Love golf? Plan on taking in one of the area’s many golf tournaments. There will be plenty of lively crowds, party after party, and of course great golf on courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and others. Attend the PING Invitational in July, the PGA Tour Champion’s Charles Schwab Cup Championship in November, and of course, the “Greatest Show on Grass,” the Waste Management Phoenix Open, at nearby Scottsdale’s TPC course, just to name a few. Outside of tournament time, you can also get some swings in yourself! Or, rent one of our vacation homes with a backyard putting green for a little private practice time. Put together a friendly tournament with the gang.
Of course, you can always schedule a hike or desert tour on those extra days. Phoenix is surrounded by majestic mountains, and there’s sure to be a hiking trail close by your rental. In fact, Phoenix is well-known as an urban hikers’ paradise because there are so many great hikes right here in town. You really can’t come to Phoenix without taking at least one hike in the beautiful Sonoran Desert. There are trails of various lengths and difficulty, and many hikes are under two miles and have accessible trails for easy hiking. You can hike, bike, or do some rock climbing or rappelling. If you are short on time, hike the short Lookout Mountain Summit Trail, or Pinnacle Peak (a must-do for any trip) for breathtaking views. Or head to the Desert Botanical Garden, where you can learn about the desert, its history and habitat while walking one of the trails.
Or, just take an extra day or two to relax by the pool, enjoying the mountain views. It’s your vacation, and you can enjoy the scenery however you like – hiking through it, or just looking at it. No one will judge.
