McCormick Ranch Golf Club

One of Scottsdale’s more affordable public courses, McCormick Ranch caters to golfers (and budgets) of all levels! With tee times as cheap as $35.00, budget conscious travelers have no reason to fear – and those looking for a fantastic deal are in the perfect place. Of course, McCormick Ranch isn’t just a cheap course to golf; with beautiful mountain vistas, 36 holes, and Hole 19, one of the Top 18 Water Holes of America according to Golf Illustrated, this course packs a punch not reflected in its cheap price tag!

Two Beautiful Courses, Two Ways To Play

McCormick Ranch is home to two amazing 18 hole golf courses, the Palm Course and the Pine Course. Both provide vastly different experiences, and both are more than worth the price of admission! The Palm Course – a true oasis in the dessert – is home to our signature hole number 9, and has been a destination on the Canadian Tour (while previously hosting the Scottsdale Swing). Designed in 1972 by Desmond Muirhead, it’s a deceivingly difficult course, with water coming into play on 10 of its 18 holes. Its wide open and rolling greens open it up to a variety of play styles, and allows golf connoisseurs to strategize to their heart’s content!

The Pine Course, on the other hand, is a professional level course continually selected by the PGA to host the regional qualifier for the Waste Management Open. Requiring finely tuned accuracy to hit the corridor fairways, it too is a devilishly difficult course that even the top weekend warrior golfers may find difficulty navigating. Not to be left out in the “signature hole” department, The Pine Course’s coveted hole is number 15, which you’ll hear no shortage of tips from local players on how to play it! This course was also designed by Desmond Muirhead, and truly lives up to its nickname: “the Fine Pine”
