Character of this Sports Bar in Scottsdale

It’s a cowboy bar, and it doesn’t disappoint. The place is rustic squared, with dark wood and ironwork everywhere. Plenty of cowboy and western memorabilia on the walls will keep you occupied while you wait for your chow. And sports pennants are everywhere; football is big here at the Saddle Bronc. Sit at the expansive bar or choose a table. Either way you can watch all the games: NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB are all here.

The Saddle Bronc has the usual sports bar appetizers—wings, nachos and potato skins—but there are a few different choices too. Wisconsin Cheese Curds or Rattlesnake Eggs anyone? The menu continues with hearty salads (including a Salmon & Asparagus Salad), Soup of the Day, Clam Chowder (Friday and Saturday) and of course, you can’t have a cowboy diner without Cowboy Chili!

There are several burger and sandwiches to choose from. Order the Reuben, Smoked Brisket, Pork Tenderloin or the House Specialty Meatloaf; it’s all about the meat here. Entrees include Chicken Fried Steak, Baby Back Ribs, Grilled Salmon, and a Brisket Platter. And, if that’s not enough, there’s fried chicken too. Order it by the piece (2, 4, 8, 12 or 16 pieces). There are a few menu items for the kids too. Cobblers, pies and a Bronco Brownie round out your meal if you’ve got room.

The Saddle Bronc Grill has a full bar, wine options and over 25 beers on tap. And if you want an IPA, lager, stout, cider or something similar, they have those too. Killian’s Irish Red, Kilt Lifter, Four Peaks Hop Knot IPA and Four Peaks Pitchfork are just a few of the options.
