Owned and operated since 2005 by a transplanted Cornishman, the Cornish Pasty Co. is the real thing. This is English (Cornish) pub food at its best! The atmosphere matches the food: English pub décor consisting of dark wood, dark padded leather booths, and vintage-look wallpaper.
The Pasties!
This handheld pastry can contain a variety of fillings, and a traditional pasty had different mixtures at each end – a savory end and a sweet end. Although they don’t make a combo savory/sweet pasty at the Cornish Pasty Co., there are over 40 pasties to choose from, including 15 vegan and vegetarian pasties!
Signature pasties at the Cornish Pasty in Downtown Phoenix include The Ozzie (the traditional pasty), Lamb & Mint, Cajun Chicken, Italian, Mexican, All Day English Breakfast, the Cubano and the Bangers and Mash. Premium Pasties include the Carne Adovada, the Chicken Tikka Masala, the Lovely Bit a Salmon, and a Reuben pasty. Veggie options include a Vegan Oggie, a Vegan Guinness Stew, an Eggplant Parmesan, and a Balsamic Portobello pasty.
The Rest Cornish Pasty in Phoenix Menu
While there are the usual bar appetizers, soups and salads, there are many more unusual offerings. Since you’re in an English pub, you have to try a Scotch Egg. Or try the Cornish Meatballs, or the house mad Chicken Liver Pate. And, for something completely different, try the Spanakopita Cocktail Pasty, and maybe the Sausage Salad?
Sides include the ubiquitous oven chips, and mushy peas. Many of the appetizers, salads and sides are available as vegetarian, vegan and gluten friendly. The Cornish Pasty in Downtown Phoenix menu has been keyed to show your options. And, save some room for dessert too; there’s the PB&J Pasty, Banoffee Pie, an Apple Caramel Pasty, Sticky Toffee Pudding and a Strawberry Pavlova among the offerings!

There are several locations of the Cornish Pasty Co. throughout Arizona, and the Scottsdale location is at 3800 N. Goldwater Boulevard. They are open Monday through Thursday and Sunday from 11am to 12am and Friday and Saturday from 11am until 2am.
