And there’s a reason it’s so popular – the food is great and stays true to its Italian roots. If you’ve ever been to northern Italy, then you know what to expect when you dine at Franco’s. The food is authentic, sophisticated and refined, while the atmosphere is a little more casual.

You’ll be able to find all your favorite Italian dishes at Franco’s Italian Caffe, one of our favorite Italian restaurants in Scottsdale AZ, and you may find a few new favorites too. Antipasti options include Baked Asparagus & Prosciutto, Prosciutto & Melon, and of course an Antipasto Platter (complete with tender tuna and beef carpaccio). Salad options include Curley Endive Gorgonzola (with pancetta and avocado) and Beet Arugula (a combination of onion, zucchini, string beans, beets and goat cheese).

Pasta options – and this is why you’ve come – include Ravioli, Fettuccine with Meat Sauce, Linguine & Clams, Capellini Tomato Basil, Spaghetti Salsa Cruda, and Fettuccine Tartufo. The pastas are all made in-house and you can taste the difference. There are plenty of house specialties for those not in the mood for pasta, and choices include Chicken Paillard, Petto Di Pollo Piccata, Filet Mignon All’Arrabiata, Bistecca Fiorentina, and a Veal Chop with Mushrooms.

And Franco hasn’t forgotten the best part of the meal – dessert! If you have room, the Mascarpone Cheesecake and Tiramisu are always popular choices, but the Merenghata (made from Franco’s grandmother’s recipe) is just luscious.

Franco’s Italian Caffe is located at 4327 North Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale. They are closed Sunday and Monday, and open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 5pm to 9:30pm.
