Every dish is served mild, but you can choose your heat level – from mild (1) to Thai hot (5). Start your meal off with one of the many appetizers on the menu. Choices include Edamame, Spring Rolls, Crab Pockets, Satay Chicken, Pot Stickers, Coconut Shrimp, and Crispy Steak Strips. There are soups and salads (Green Papaya Salad, Beef Salad, Glass Noodle Salad, and Seafood Salad) for the lighter side.
Crispy Pla (whole tilapia), Spicy Calamari, Crispy Shrimp, and Mahi with Sweet & Sour Tilapia are just a few of the seafood and fish entrees offered. And if you are craving rice or noodles, there are several menu options including Pad Thai, Pad Mee Leang (Thai stir-fried chow mein and chicken) or the house favorite Takeda Fried Rice.
And, of course, there is curry! There are seven varieties of curry to choose from including Mango and fresh Aubergine. Entrees include Thai Basil, Zesty Ginger, Broccoli and Oyster Sauce, and the super spicy Thai Hot Uncle Som’s Pad Ped.
The Chef’s Specials vary, but recent offerings have been Crispy Orange Duck, Crispy Duck with Tamarind Sauce, Firecracker Chicken, and Massaman Curry Beef. And don’t forget to leave room for dessert; what Thai dinner is complete without Fried Ice Cream? Other dessert options include Fried Banana and Ice Cream, and a customer favorite: Jasmine Almond Triangles and Ice Cream.

A wide variety of lunch specials are offered too. Takeda Thai by Moulay is open for lunch on Wednesdays (only) from 11am to 2pm. They are open for Dinner Tuesday through Thursday from 5:30pm – 9:30pm and Friday through Sunday from 5:30pm – 10:00pm. This Thai restaurant in Phoenix is closed Mondays.
