Enjoy a Prime Location!

Many of our Old Town rentals are located so close to the heart of Old Town that all you have to do is step out your door and you’re there. Or, if you need a breather, just sit on your private balcony with your beverage of choice and watch the fun. We also have rentals on the edge of Old Town too, that are just a short walk from all of the historic center’s fantastic restaurants and shops. They’re still close, but they’re a little quieter. For something unique, check out these short term rentals.

Wherever you decide to stay in Old Town, you won’t be far away from other Scottsdale or Phoenix attractions. If the kids are with you, take them to the Phoenix Zoo for an up-close look at orangutans and Komodo dragons, or spend a few hours at the Musical Instrument Museum for some musical fun and learning. If anyone in your group loves trains, be sure to visit the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park.

You can test your skills at one of the area’s great golf courses like the Troon North Club, TPC Scottsdale or the course at Talking Stick. And at Talking Stick, you can hit the course early, then stay for one of the poker tournaments. Or head to one of the state’s premiere shopping destinations like the Scottsdale Fashion Square and Kierland Commons or treat yourself to an invigorating spa treatment at a local resort.

And even though time is short, you should plan on at least one desert hike. The McDowell Sonoran Preserve and Pinnacle Peak Park both offer many trails of various lengths and difficulties to choose from. Get out there and wander among the lizards and cacti for an hour or two! You can explore on your own or book a guided tour to learn more about the desert as you hike. Many tour companies offer bike tours, ATV tours or horseback tours too.

If you need help selecting the Old Town rental that will be just right for your stay, just give our helpful staff a call. We’ll match your group up with the perfect rental and can make suggestions for other activities during your stay!

Enjoy Old Town!

Old Town really does have it all. You can stroll through historic Old Town, browsing in the cute boutiques and shops, stopping for that special candy from your childhood at Old Town Candy & Toys or maybe a glass of wine at one of the many wine tasting rooms.

If you’re an art lover or just love the old west, you’ll be in heaven. From fine art to tacky souvenirs for the kids, it’s here. One of the premiere art destinations in the country (if not the world), it’s the perfect place to add to your art collection, or to start a new one. Collectors of contemporary art, Western and Native American art, antiques, jewelry, sculptures, and everything in between will it easy to add to their collections. And every Thursday galleries in the art district open in the evening for the Scottsdale Art Walk where you can browse pieces from local artists as well as artists from around the world.

And the diversity of cuisines and night life options will amaze you too. Old Town has western-themed bars (that you really should hit at least once), cocktail bars, wine bars and beer pubs, and more. Enjoy five-star masterpieces by well-known chefs or down-home no frills cooking, with everything from pasta, steak, and sushi to Italian, TexMex, and more. This isn’t your typical selection of strip mall offerings either, so get ready to enjoy!

And Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West is worth the trip. It only takes a few hours to explore this intimate museum, but the exhibits are outstanding and feature quintessential Western art including bronze sculptures by John Coleman and Frederic Remington, Old West cowboy gear, and stunning Hopi pottery.
